In case you are a buffet kind of person and looking for interesting spreads, you should check out the Food Exchange at the Novotel Aerocity, in New Delhi. The weekend buffet theme on a Friday is called Delhi-6, and there are kababs and biryanis on Saturdays. The Delhi-6 buffet draws inspiration from the nooks and corners of the city, and so you get stuff such as Chandni Chowk ka Banta Masala Soda, Chitli Qabar Ka Gola kebab and Moti Nagar ke Mutton Roomali Kabab. Mains include Moolchand ka Anda Paratha, Khameeri Roti and Jama Masjid ki Nihari.

For dessert, try the India Gate ka Kala Khatta. The Kababs and Biryani buffer is more mainstream, and features dishes such as Peshawri Lamb Seekh, Kasundi fish tikka, and a chooza or quail biryani.
