Choose from the Basil Martini or Melontini and more
There’s a whole lot going on in Delhi this weekend. We picked two places that you should be at – both turn classics on their head, and nudge you into experimenting with your food and drink.
The long weekend maybe over but martinis are just what the doctor ordered to shake things up again. There are all kinds of fruit-flavoured martinis at the classy 1911 bar at The Imperial. There’s a zesty orange martini, which is gin flavoured with orange curacao, orange bitter and orange juice or an Espresso martini with vodka, kahlua and espresso or the Tom Yum, with kaffir leaves, mint leaves and lemon grass to brighten the martini.

Burgers without buns
Spicy ramen burger
When we say there’s a festival of burgers without buns, you know what you’re getting into: A meat fest, that’s what. Choose from burgers such as Spicy Miso Ramen Burger, which is baked teriyaki chicken, smoked buffalo mozzarella, with a generous miso and Sriracha sauces and Granny Smith apple burger, made using baked Granny Smith apples cooked in a wood-fired over, slow cooked BBQ pulled pork and Danish blue cheese among others. But we get a feeling that there will be several orders for the Maggi Beast burger, which is Korean BBQ glazed bell peppers and paneer, topped with gochujang chilli mayo.
