Chef Sujan S., Chef de cuisine of Olive Qutub, along with his head chef, Chef Dhruv Oberoi are putting together a special dinner – a seven-course meal called the Earth Menu featuring a selection of handpicked dishes. Served with a selection of both Indian and international wines to complement some of Chef Sujan’s signature gourmet delicacies, this one should not be missed. The dishes are prepared using modern cooking techniques. Key ingredients include Indian root veggies like beetroot, kohlrabi as also mandarins, fresh microgreens and edible flowers to add a touch of flourish to the creations.  The meal is available in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The non-veg course includes a sous-vide cooked Indian Ocean Octopus starter served with pickled potato, French mustard cream and a poached quail egg. Vegetarians can enjoy the Palm hearts & avocado salad, containing pickled cucumber heart, charred Peruvian chilies.

The Nariman Point outpost of Sassy Spoon in Mumbai is out with a spanking new selection of skillets that are aimed at adding a playful, innovative dimension to their expansive menu. Vegetarians can dig into a the gooey goodness of the Mushrooms scallion mac & cheese with orange zest, or sample the Soya bobotie with spicy rice, which draws inspiration from a popular South African delicacy. The Goan sausage with potatoes and basil and Choriz Skillet seem like a perfect pick for a lazy weekend lunch. If you’re in the mood for something robust, take your pick from Minced beef with spaghetti and smoked scarmoza or the Ranch style steak and penne carbonara. Served as an addition to the existing menu, these specially tailored skillets are available only during lunch hours.
