Restaurant Week returns with 10 days, 100 restaurants. Book now

Restaurant Week, the popular pan-Indian culinary fest, is back, and bookings go live Monday, September 12. The event, sponsored by cab service aggregator Ola, will be held from September 16 to September 25, and will feature over 100 restaurants from across the country. Here is what you need to know about RW 2016.

Participating restaurants include, among others, Asilo, The St. Regis Mumbai, Celini, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, and Hakkasan, in Mumbai;  Caperberry and Benjarong, in Bangalore; Teppan and The Flying Elephant, in Chennai; A  Ta Maison and Diva, in Delhi; Bodega Cantina Y Bar and Yauatcha, in Kolkata; and Shizusan and Trikaya, in Pune. The menu will include gluten free, vegan, low carb and low sugar options. Restaurants in Bangalore will be offering a five-course prix fixe menu that will cost Rs 900 for lunch and Rs 1,100 for dinner. In Mumbai, the three-course prix fixe menu dominates (Rs 1,100/Rs 1,300), and the costs in Chennai are Rs 750/Rs 900. The meals in Pune and Kolkata are priced at Rs 750 and Rs 900.

The popular Signature Option has ben retained, and restaurants will offer their signature dish at an additional price over and above the cost of prix fixe menus. Prices will range from Rs 100 to Rs 300, depending on the city you will be eating at.
