Sunday brunches are sacred and if you’re a health nut, it can be a bit daunting to find just the right food at your favourite brunch spot. To solve the dilemma, Bastian has a healthy brunch spread of seafood, vegetarian as well as gluten-free options. The Kale Caesar salad sounds like a every health-nut’s dream come true while the Whole Wheat Pizza with spicy marinara sauce, eggs and arugula is just the perfect cheat meal, sans any guilt. There’s also organic Sweet Potato Roesti served with heirloom tomatoes, avocado and creamy burrata as well as a Lobster Breakfast Taco for seafood enthusiasts. Vegetarians ought to note that Chefs Kelvin Cheung and Boo Kim are fans of truffle mushrooms, so it’d be wise to pick Truffle Shuffle (wild mushrooms, scrambled eggs, parmesan, white truffle oil) served with gluten-free bread for brunch.
